Radiant's application software packages are used with ProMetric Imaging Colorimeters as a complete solution to accomplish specialized testing and calibration tasks in R&D, production line, or in-field environments.
ProMetric Imaging Colorimeters and Photometers provide rapid and accurate measurement of luminance and color for a broad range of devices and materials, including light sources, flat panel displays, lit keypads and keyboards, optical materials and surface treatments. To reduce the complexity of the measurement operation and to allow you to focus on data interpretation, an easy-to-use means for controlling the measurements and analyzing the data is required.
Each Radiant Vision Systems Imaging Photometer and Colorimeter comes with ProMetric, a powerful, Windows®-based software suite that provides equipment control, data acquisition and image analysis capabilities.
When testing FPD quality, or looking for defects, you do not always have one specific failure mode that you are testing. TrueTest software, the flagship of the TrueTest family, addresses this by providing:
- A comprehensive set of predefined tests
- A flexible framework that allows you to apply a single test or sequence of tests as needed, quickly and efficiently
- A pass/fail report with as much detail as you need
A member of Radiant's TrueTest™ family, the PM-KB system combines application-specific software and a ProMetric® Imaging Colorimeter to perform rapid, automated visual inspection of back-illuminated keyboards and keypads for character luminance and chromaticity, and overall keyboard luminance and color uniformity. PM-KB also provides optical character recognition, allowing the software to determine the keycaps are installed correctly and each key is in its proper location. PM-KB is a dedicated testing system and is easy to set-up and operate.
VisionCAL is a patented, turnkey solution for LED screen manufacturers and installers that can be used to dramatically improve color and brightness uniformity in many LED displays. The system is designed to be flexible enough to address LED module correction needs in a controlled factory environment and to also perform in-field correction of the large, spectacular LED video screens used in stadiums, in arenas, for outdoor advertising, or for large indoor displays.
ProSource enables optical system designers to fully exploit Radiant Source Model™ files (RSMs) of light sources and lighting systems. RSMs are the most accurate method for describing the near-field output of real light sources in optical and illumination design software because they contain full measurement information, including luminance images, from all viewing angles for the light source or lighting system. This provides full flexibility in analysis and in ray set generation.
