Analog components in today's vehicles are quickly being replaced by digital and display controls, from backlit panels to touchscreens to head-up displays (HUDs). For utmost vehicle safety, user experience, and brand perception, evaluating light and color quality has become a critical objective for automakers and suppliers. During the Automotive Visual & Display Technologies event, taking place April 10-12, automotive industry leaders and suppliers will convene in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to explore and discuss trends in automotive technology as well as measures for quality control. Radiant Vision Systems will host a booth in the venue networking area demonstrating automated display testing using advanced imaging colorimeters for luminance, chromaticity, uniformity, viewing-angle, and defect-detection measurements. In addition, Radiant's Automotive Business Leader, Matt Scholz, will lead a presentation titled "Visual display inspection: delivering the optimal customer experience" during Conference Day One, Monday April 10 from 3:00-3:40 PM.
