Radiant Remains Committed to Customers and Employees During the Coronavirus Outbreak

REDMOND, Wash. – March 25, 2020 — As Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to have an impact on public safety, our daily lives, and business operations worldwide, the team at Radiant is committed to upholding our standards for safe work practices, customer and employee health and welfare, and supporting your business needs and important objectives.

Although Washington State Governor Jay Inslee issued an Executive Order on Monday March 23 directing all residents to stay home and ordering the close of non-essential businesses, Radiant Vision Systems will continue operations. Due to Radiant’s part in the supply chain for cellphones, laptops, and other devices necessary for people to manage their lives and businesses to function, Radiant is an essential business in the Information Technology Sector, exempt from the closure mandate.

Radiant manufacturing and service facilities in Redmond, Washington, will remain open and responsibly staffed during this time. While most of the staff works remotely, teams will remain connected to each other and customers through electronic means, virtual meetings, and shared documents. Strict policies and staggered shifts are enforced for staff working on-site at our facilities to ensure the safety of all team members.

While on a reduced staffing schedule, Radiant is taking daily actions to mitigate service interruptions to our customers. Radiant remains responsive to changing requirements and is committed to ensuring as efficient delivery of goods and services as possible, as well as consistent business support.

The COVID-19 impact in China earlier this year provided Radiant remote-work experience in team interactions, communication, and customer engagement. We were able to meet customer commitments while keeping our employees safe in Shanghai, Suzhou, Shenzhen, and other areas of China. These remote work policies, procedures, and travel restrictions have been adapted for other business locations. We remain positive that our customers will continue to experience a consistent level of service.
