For most of these industries, eye safety continues to be extremely important. To ensure the performance and eye safety of light beyond the human visible spectrum, manufacturers must properly measure the intensity of beams and patterns produced by NIR LEDs and lasers. However, traditional light source measurement methods cannot keep up with the high-volume production demands of devices like smartphones and extended reality (XR) headsets.
